Bruce Blakeman Continues Momentum, Picks Up Floral Park Endorsements

Press Release

Bruce Blakeman, the Republican-Conservative-Independence nominee for Congress in New York's open 4th District, continued his campaign momentum today, picking up the endorsements of community leaders in the Incorporated Village of Floral Park.

Floral Park Mayor Tom Tweedy and Village Trustees Jim Rhatigan, Kevin Fitzgerald and Dom Longobardi were joined by former Mayors Ann Corbett and Phil Guarnieri, in addition to former Trustee Tom DeMaria in supporting Blakeman.

In endorsing Blakeman, Floral Park Mayor Tom Tweedy said "We're happy to stand together as a community and formally endorse Bruce Blakeman for Congress. Bruce is clearly a champion of our hardworking middle class values. I am confident he will continue to fight in Washington to create the jobs we need and provide sorely needed tax relief."

"Bruce Blakeman is the only candidate for Congress who will create jobs by cutting taxes, expanding our economy and fight ISIS and other terrorist groups who threaten America," said former Mayor Phil Guarnieri.

"I'm proud to endorse Bruce Blakeman today. As our next Congressman, I know he will continue to stand tall and fight for our middle class families and seniors," said former Mayor Ann Corbett.

Bruce Blakeman expressed his deep appreciation for these public officials and community leaders' strong backing.

"Thanks to these stellar public officials' support, our campaign to change Washington continues gaining momentum. Communities like Floral Park need a strong and vocal advocate like me in Congress to create jobs, expand our economy and fight ebola, ISIS and other terrorist groups no matter what they call themselves," Blakeman said.
